'National Roper's Supply (NRS) is a family-owned retail company with over 36 years of experience dedicated to serving western and equine enthusiasts. We provide quality products, host events, and operate a guest ranch and indoor arena to promote equine sports and lifestyle.
Summary

'The Roadshow Logistics Manager, works directly with the Director of Sponsorship Activations and is responsible for executing comprehensive planning, product and set up/tear down coordination, show/employee logistics, and management of various roadshow events—ranging from smaller local rodeo/horse events to large scale multiweek related events. They oversee every phase of the event lifecycle to ensure it meets corporate objectives, stays within budget, and provides a high-quality experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Conceptualization: Defining event goals, target audiences, and themes. This includes creating detailed tradeshow marketing plan, product delivery timelines, and floor plans.
Budget Management: Developing and maintaining comprehensive event budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring all costs remain within financial constraints.
Logistics and Venue Management: Researching and securing suitable venues, coordinating transportation, arranging product and display delivery, and managing technical setups.
Vendor and Staff Coordination: Negotiating with venue management, vendor sales representatives and managing on-site event staff and contract help.
Marketing and Promotion: Collaborating with marketing team to promote events through various channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
On-Site Execution: Supervising the live event to ensure everything runs smoothly, handling employee scheduling, show registration, and troubleshooting any last-minute issues or emergencies.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conducting post-event analysis, gathering feedback, and preparing reports to assess ROI and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills

Organization and Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines, and complex moving parts simultaneously.
Communication and Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders, employee management, and cultivating venue and vendor relationships.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure to resolve unexpected challenges.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with event management programs (Paycom, Celerant, and Deposco), project management tools, and standard office suites.
Creativity: A keen eye for detail and the ability to design memorable attendee experiences.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Responsibilities

Education: A degree in business management, communications, public relations, or marketing is a plus.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in western retail management or event planning or related retail roles.
Physical and Schedule Demands: Candidates must be willing to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and will be required to travel 25-35% to various event sites.

Estimated Salary (2025)

Range: Generally, between $40,000 and $50,000 annually, depending on the background and experience.
Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses ranging from event sales.
