Build Tech/Lube Tech Job Description

Works independently or in a team. Preassembly of units such as ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles, and assumes the responsibilities of lot porter as directed. Conducts routine maintenance on ATVs, UTVs, & motorcycles. Transports machines on trailers between dealerships.

Qualifications:

Self-motivated and willing to learn.
Detail oriented
Organization skills
Ability to communicate in person, over the phone, and through text.
Ability to take direction.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work with immediate supervisor in achieving successful prioritization.
Must stay on task and move directly onto the next immediate task.
Passionate about the industry

Build Tech Requirements/What we are looking for:

Powersports background or dealership experience a plus
Valid driver’s license and clean MVR allowing our insurance to cover you
Experience in pulling trailers of various sizes (minimum 1 yr)
Knowledge and previous use of basic hand and power tools (minimum 1 yr)
Working knowledge of basic machine maintenance
Manufacturing, production, machinist, or assembly experience
Demonstrated stability and dependability in previous employment
Safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces
Ability to assume responsibility for the valuable property of customers and the dealership
Shows up to work on time and ready to accomplish the day’s tasks
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to pivot tasks easily as dictated by supervisor
Basic computer and internet skills
Team player; able to communicate successfully with all types of personalities
Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
