Full Job Description

Are you an expert in property valuations, REO operations, or mortgage servicing looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading national mortgage servicing organization, is seeking a Manager, Property Claims & Valuations for a newly created, fully remote position supporting a growing Property Oversight team.

This is a high-impact opportunity to help build new processes, oversee property valuations and hazard claims, and partner with leadership on key portfolio initiatives.

Position Overview: In this role, you'll oversee residential property valuations, hazard claims, and property preservation activities across a large servicing portfolio. You'll work closely with internal leaders and third-party vendors to ensure accurate property data, support foreclosure and asset management decisions, and improve operational oversight.
What You'll Do

Review and reconcile BPOs, appraisals, and residential property valuations.
Investigate valuation discrepancies and challenge vendors when appropriate.
Oversee hazard claims, property preservation, and third-party vendor performance.
Monitor properties throughout the default, foreclosure, and REO lifecycle.
Update property values to support foreclosure bidding, charge-offs, and asset disposition.
Analyze trends, identify process improvements, and help build new procedures.
Partner with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, REO, property valuation, collateral analysis, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of BPOs, appraisals, and residential valuation methodologies.
Experience with REO, default servicing, property preservation, or hazard claims.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $115,000-$125,000 (up to ~$135,000 for exceptional candidates)
Bonus: Target 10% annual bonus
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Schedule: Full-time
