Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product demos, upselling, and answering questions about merchandise
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products
- Conduct stock replenishment and inventory checks to keep the sales floor inviting and well-stocked
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely
Requirements
- Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales transactions preferred
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Proven supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of grocery store or retail environment experience is desirable
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
