About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines on outdoor power equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and generators
- Perform routine tune-ups, oil changes, and preventative maintenance services
- Inspect and test equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
- Order and replace defective parts, components, and assemblies
- Communicate repair status and recommendations clearly to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop
- Document service records and completed repair orders accurately
Requirements:
- Prior experience in small engine repair or a related mechanical field preferred
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines
- Familiarity with brands such as Exmark, Hustler, Scag, Kawasaki, Briggs & Stratton, or Kohler is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair jobs efficiently
