I. Position Description:

The CNC Operator can run a variety of CNC machines and help to enhance the productivity of our organization. The successful candidate will perform work quality checks and monitor machine output. If you are a skilled CNC Operator or have a background in CNC machining, we encourage you to submit an application for this position. ATPI offers a competitive pay and benefit package based on experience and skill level.

II. Job Responsibilities

Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects
Ensure that every machining procedure is performed in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company.
Follow all company safety protocol
Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift
Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions

III. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Advanced knowledge of CNC machine operation
Basic knowledge of operator machine maintenance
Must possess strong basic math skills
Proven history of working with gauges and calipers

IV. Education and Experience

High school diploma/GED required
10+ years’ experience running CNC machinery is preferred but not mandatory for consideration.
Working knowledge of GD&T preferred
Proven capability to troubleshoot and solve common manufacturing issues.
Experience machining complex part geometries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 55 per week
