Job Purpose:

The Relationship Manager would have the following responsibilities:

Customer Experience
The Relationship Manager will be involved in day-to-day servicing of NRI customers who walk-in at the New York Office or contact the branch through email / phone. The Relationship Manager to ensure customer satisfaction through each engagement.
Take ownership of client complaints/issues, initiating action, following up with respective units and resolving the problem within stipulated time frame. Also keeping the clients informed during the process.
Actively participate in specific projects/ activities to facilitate smooth operations of the center or as assigned by the reporting authority.
Ensure all Bank’s policies, regulatory guidelines, industry service standards and codes of conduct are adhered to.
Identify process and customer service improvement opportunities, also strive for continuous improvements.
Relationship Enhancement:
Work to promote all the permitted products of the Bank amongst the NRI diaspora by implementation of on-ground activities, campaigns, conducting/ attending events, webinars etc.
Develop strong relationship with respective Indian Consulate and other Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Associations, becoming first port of call for any kind of NRI referrals from these organizations / associations
Ensuring that we create awareness on Remittance / Home loan and permissible products during all our interactions
Remittances:
Create a network within the Indian Diaspora in Ney York state with focus on promoting permissible products for the branch, primarily Money2India.
Ensure growth of other NRI products like home loans from the region as permitted by license guidelines.
Focus on increasing Money2India market share
