Full Job Description

Front of House Manager

We are fast paced casual restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We are looking for a responsible and EXPERIENCED Front of House Manager to assist in the supervision of the restaurant’s daily operations.

Front of house supervisors are responsible for ensuring a smooth dining and bar experience for the customers. Front of house supervisors oversee the interview and hiring processes for positions such as servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders. They also oversee, direct, and actively participate in the training of personnel in these positions.

Additionally, front of house supervisors supervise the cleanliness and upkeep of the dining room and guest contact areas, including restrooms and waiting areas.
Finally, the front of house manager supervises individual shifts, helping ensure that dining guests are served in a manner that meets the standards set by the restaurant.

This position full time, benefits and bonuses offered.

Responsibilities

Monitor staff during serving times and greet customers when needed
Organize and maintain the front of the house area (kitchen appliances, utensils etc.)
Organize front of house schedules (restaurant opening, closing times etc.)
Monitor cleanliness of the front of house area
Assist in maintaining sanitation standards in the restaurant area
Complete daily pre-meal routine checks on staff (e.g. test nutrition levels)
Report any issues (e.g. staffing shortages) to management immediately
Assist management with staff training, recruitment etc.)
Help prepare store for future events
At times, may be required to assist management with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience:

Front of House Management: 2 years (Preferred)
