Job Description Job Summary
The Manager - Office is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an office, including managing administrative staff, coordinating office activities, and ensuring efficient office procedures. They may handle budgeting, scheduling, and office maintenance tasks, as well as liaising with other departments and external stakeholders. The Manager - Office I plays a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office and supporting the overall goals of the organization.

Essential Functions
• Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; ensuring mail is distributed in a timely manner, assigning and monitoring clerical functions and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Responsible for implementing and managing the designated document management system. Makes recommendation for the new system and ensures that it is installed according to department requirements.
• Among other attributes, position specifically requires discretion, initiative, perseverance, ability to work on a team, ability to work quickly and under the pressure of multiple deadlines and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Exhibit outstanding communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels within and outside of the Company.
• Assumes responsibility and makes decisions within own level of authority.
• Communicate to all parties concerning documents, communications, emails, etc.
• Exposure to highly confidential information and business matters requires the ability to maintain this information in the strictest of confidence.
• Proficient in us of Oracle Procurement processes to keep supplies stocked.
• Ability to analyze information objectively, evaluate different perspectives, and make well-informed decisions.
• Has a clear vision of emerging trends and how value will be created in the future. Develops strategies that are distinctive in the market, create value for customers and other stakeholders, and provide sustainable competitive advantage.

Responsibilities Education
• High School diploma. Some college preferred.

Experience
• Experience as an event planner/office manager is preferred.
• Position requires relevant education/experience and superior office, administrative and organizational skills.

• Must have the ability to establish a course of action for yourself and others to accomplish specific goals.
• Must be able to budget time, set priorities, and maintain an awareness of the relationship between activities.

• Written communications should exhibit good command of English and be grammatically sound.

• Must determine when to handle inquiries or problems personally or who to refer them to.
• Must have advanced proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendars, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Must be able to learn new systems proficiently and efficiently.
