Business Development Manager

Location: Flexible / Hybrid (as applicable)

Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

Overview

HKA is seeking a high‑performing Business Development Manager to drive growth across key enterprise accounts. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding client relationships while selling IT and Engineering staffing, and project & payroll solutions into complex, large‑scale organizations. The ideal candidate brings a proven record of success, deep industry knowledge, and thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment where collaboration and teamwork are core values.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and grow new revenue streams within targeted enterprise‑level accounts
Prospect, qualify, and close opportunities for IT and Engineering staffing, and project & payroll solutions
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers and key stakeholders
Identify client challenges and align HKA solutions to meet current and future workforce needs
Collaborate closely with recruiting, delivery, and leadership teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful execution
Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Stay current on market trends, competitive landscape, and client industry developments
Represent HKA professionally in all endeavors including client meetings, networking events, industry forums and all communications

Required Qualifications

Proven success selling IT and Engineering staffing and solutions into enterprise‑level clients
Demonstrated ability to close new business and expand existing accounts
Working knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense industry
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Preferred / Plus Qualifications

Experience with Skilled Trades recruitment
Experience selling into:
Pharmaceutical, Technology, Engineering and Automotive industries
