Job Summary:
Manzana Products is seeking a motivated, creative, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and help shape the future growth of our company. Manzana Products is a leading apple processor specializing in premium applesauce, apple juice, and apple cider vinegar. The Marketing Manager will support both our branded business, including our flagship consumer brand, North Coast Organics—and our growing private label manufacturing business. This role will develop marketing programs and sales support tools that strengthen existing customer relationships, attract new opportunities, and enhance the company's position as a trusted industry partner.
The Marketing Manager will also collaborate with our parent company in France, working with its marketing team to leverage market insights, data, and best practices that support our North American marketing initiatives. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, oversees one Marketing Assistant, and serves as the company's lead marketing strategist.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Business Growth
o Develop and maintain the company's marketing strategy and annual marketing plan.
o Identify growth opportunities, market trends, customer insights, and competitive advantages.
o Establish measurable marketing objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and deliver measurable returns.
o Lead the product innovation process across multiple departments, driving the development and launch of new products and continuous improvement initiatives.
o Provide strategic recommendations for leadership regarding branding, market positioning, customer engagement, and business development opportunities.
o Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, and trade channels.
o Manage company website content, social media platforms, and digital marketing initiatives.
o Develop marketing materials, presentations, product literature, videos, sales collateral, and promotional content.
o Support new product launches and customer communication initiatives.
o Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and visual identity across all customer touchpoints.
o Strengthen awareness and recognition of both the Manzana Products brand and the company's private label capabilities.
o Develop marketing strategies that strengthen the North Coast Organics brand while supporting continued growth of the company's private label business.
o Collaborate with the marketing team in France to leverage consumer insights, market data, and marketing best practices that support North American initiatives.
- Trade Marketing, Events & Sales Support
o Lead planning and execution of industry trade shows and events.
o Establish objectives and success metrics for each event and provide post-event analysis.
o Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, booth messaging, and follow-up activities.
o Create sales presentations and tools that help communicate the company's value proposition to customers and prospects.
- Leadership & Performance Management
o Supervise, mentor, and develop the Marketing Assistant.
o Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
o Monitor marketing performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.
o Provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations to company leadership.
o Use data-driven decision making to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and return on investment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience with demonstrated success managing campaigns and projects.

Experience developing marketing plans and managing budgets.

Advanced MS Office knowledge.

Expert with Adobe Illustrator/photoshop skills.

Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Experience with trade shows, events, consumer packaged goods (CPG), food manufacturing, or B2B marketing is highly desirable.
- Experience marketing consumer packaged goods (CPG), food brands, or ingredients is preferred; experience supporting both branded and private label businesses is a plus
Skills:
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
