The Role

We're looking for a Finance Manager to run finance operations across our Philippines, Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong businesses, with full ownership of the Philippines entity and payroll and reporting oversight everywhere else.

In the Philippines, you'll own everything: statutory compliance, payroll, monthly reporting and the commercial picture of the business. Across our other markets, we work with local accounting firms and bookkeepers who handle statutory compliance and filing, and you'll own payroll (where applicable) and make sure reporting from each market is accurate, consistent and rolled up properly at group level.

You'll manage our PH Finance Executive, who handles day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable. You'll also manage our external accounting and bookkeeping partners in each market, and report at group level alongside Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong, giving leadership one clear, comparable view of the business.

This is a role for someone who wants real ownership across a growing multi-market business, not a narrow single-country lane.

Philippines

Statuatory & Compliance: Full ownership: BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and all statutory filings
Payroll and employee management: Full ownership
Reporting: monthly P&L, QBR, budgeting and forecasting

Singapore

Statuatory & compliance: Full management of compliance reporting and filing is desirable for this role but not essential
Payroll: Full ownership, via Talenox platform
Reporting: Monthly and quarterly reporting into group

Australia

Statuary & compliance: Handled by our AU accounting firm (statutory reporting, compliance and advisory)
Payroll: Full ownership via Xero
Reporting: Monthly and quarterly reporting into group

Hong Kong (in the process of incorporation)

Statuatory & Compliance: Handled by local bookkeeper/accountant (new market launch this year)
Payroll: Potentially required, TBC as the market launches
Reporting: Monthly and quarterly reporting into group

Group Reporting & ownership

Monthly Group P&L reporting
Quarterly Group QBR reporting

We're looking for someone with

5+ years' experience in finance management, including direct ownership of statutory compliance in at least one market (not just reviewing someone else's work).
Solid working knowledge of Philippine statutory requirements: BIR, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG.
Payroll experience across multiple markets, ideally including Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, and comfort picking up a new market's requirements as needed.
Experience managing people. You'll manage a Finance Executive and need to do that well, including their performance, development and wellbeing.
Comfort managing external accounting and bookkeeping firms, not just internal teams.
Proficiency in Xero or a similar accounting platform, and comfort working with reporting tools like Syft and payroll platforms like Talenox.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining financial performance clearly to non-finance leadership.
A proactive, resourceful approach: you'll be trusted to run things across multiple markets, not just execute instructions.
Comfortable operating with autonomy in a smaller, fast-moving agency environment.
Singapore statutory compliance experience (filing, not just payroll) is a desirable plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities and Skills

Philippines: Finance & Statutory Compliance

Own PH statutory compliance end to end: BIR filings, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and all other regulatory and government reporting requirements.
Manage relationships with PH external auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies.
Own the monthly P&L for the PH entity: accurate, on time, and clearly explained to group leadership.
Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow for the PH operation.
Oversee the general ledger and month-end close in Xero, with reporting through Syft.

Philippines: Payroll & People Operations

Run PH payroll end to end using Talenox, including statutory contributions and deductions.
Manage PH employee contracts, benefits administration and HR compliance.
Act as the go-to person for PH employees on payroll, benefits and HR-related queries.
Ensure employment practices meet Philippine labour law.

Singapore, Australia & Hong Kong: Payroll & Reporting

Run Singapore and Australia payroll end to end.
Support Hong Kong payroll as the market launches, working out final scope as the entity stands up.
Manage relationships with our AU accounting firm and our SG and HK bookkeepers/accountants, making sure statutory reporting and compliance are on track in each market.
Where desirable, build toward fuller ownership of Singapore compliance reporting and filing over time.
Collate and review monthly and quarterly reporting from each market for accuracy and consistency ahead of group roll-up.

Group Reporting & Commercial Input

Report at group level alongside Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong, giving leadership a consistent, comparable view across all four markets.
Lead or contribute to the quarterly business review (QBR), presenting financial performance and commercial insight to group leadership.
Process payments and manage banking through Airwallex and local banks.
Flag commercial risks and opportunities across markets to group leadership, not just report the numbers.
Contribute to group-level financial thinking as we continue to grow across APAC.

Team & Vendor Management

Manage and develop our PH Finance Executive, who owns bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and expense processing.
Review and sign off the Finance Executive's work: bi-weekly payment runs, overdue account follow-ups and monthly expense processing.
Manage relationships with all external finance vendors across markets: bookkeepers, accountants, auditors, tax agents and payroll partners.
Build and refine finance processes across all four markets so the function scales as the agency grows.
