Position Summary
As a Luxury Outdoor Living Designer, you'll serve as the trusted advisor throughout the client's design journey.
You'll meet with homeowners, understand their goals, develop creative design concepts, prepare professional proposals, and guide clients from the initial consultation through contract execution.
Success in this role requires exceptional design ability, professionalism, communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping clients bring their vision to life.
What You'll DoDesign & Client Experience
- Conduct in-home design consultations with homeowners.
- Develop creative outdoor living concepts tailored to each client's lifestyle and goals.
- Design luxury pools, remodels, landscapes, and complete backyard environments.
- Utilize Pool Studio, CAD, SketchUp, and other design software to create compelling presentations.
- Present concepts with confidence while inspiring clients through thoughtful design.
- Build lasting relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from the first meeting through project handoff.
Sales & Business Development
- Manage an active pipeline of qualified sales lead opportunities.
- Prepare detailed estimates and project proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and successfully close projects.
- Expand our presence throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
- Develop relationships with homeowners, architects, builders, designers, and real estate professionals.
- Utilize CRM tools to effectively manage leads, communications, and sales activities.
Collaboration
- Work closely with project management and construction teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Coordinate with internal departments throughout the design and preconstruction process.
- Maintain organized project documentation and communication.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for professionals who are passionate about exceptional design, outstanding customer service, and building long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of luxury pool, landscape, or outdoor living design and sales experience.
- Proven success closing high-value residential projects.
- Strong design portfolio.
- Proficiency with Pool Studio, CAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of residential construction, grading, and outdoor design principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience using CRM and project management software is preferred.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
