Full Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking licensed Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrists to join our dynamic referral network. In this specialized contract role, you will perform comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine an individual’s mental health status, readiness, or safety for specific legal, medical, or workplace contexts. Your expert assessments and detailed reports will directly impact patient care, workplace safety, and legal proceedings.

This is a flexible, independent contractor position with no minimum hour requirements. You can accept or decline referrals based on your availability and area of expertise.

Areas of Assessment Needed (One or More):

Fitness for Duty Evaluations (FFDE): Assessing an employee's mental and emotional stability to perform their job duties safely and effectively.
Immigration Psychological Assessments: Conducting evaluations for extreme hardship waivers, asylum cases, or VAWA petitions.
Pre-Surgical Psychological Evaluations: Assessing patient readiness and psychological suitability for bariatric, spinal, or gender-affirming surgeries.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews and psychological diagnostic testing as required by the specific assessment type.
Evaluate psychological readiness, risk factors, cognitive functioning, or emotional trauma utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.
Write objective, high-quality, and legally defensible psychological evaluation reports within agreed-upon timelines.
Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines.
Collaborate professionally with our referral team regarding case acceptance and scheduling.

Requirements:

Education & Licensure: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist (PsyD/PhD) or Psychiatrist (MD/DO) in your state of practice.
Experience: Proven experience conducting at least one of the specialized evaluations listed above (Fitness for Duty, Immigration, or Pre-surgical).
Skills: Exceptional clinical interviewing skills, strong diagnostic capabilities, and excellent, timely report-writing skills.
Must maintain active malpractice/professional liability insurance.

Position Details:

Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Hours: Flexible; no minimum or maximum hours required.
Compensation: $120 per completed referral and report.

Pay: $120.00 per hour
