Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated BOM with excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will foster a positive attitude, seek ways to help teammates improve, and go the extra mile. The BOM interacts closely with the Clinical Liaison, Admissions Coordinator, MDS nurse, Administrator and other leaders on the team, as well as with partners outside the facility. A competitive spirit is a must, as DML intends to continue to be the best SNF in the area.

There’s no place like Decatur Medical Lodge (DML). For the last decade, we have been Decatur’s premiere Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). We enrich the lives of our guests, their families, and our employees. And although we pride ourselves on our serious commitment to compliance, safety and best practices, we also have a generous dose of warmth and a fun team!

Collection of revenue from various sources common to Texas nursing homes
Billing Medicaid and VA claims
Reconciliation and management of patient funds
Census management within facility EMR system
Coordination with IDT to improve systems workflow and case management of patients, including discharge process
Verification of benefits for patient placement and services, and obtaining authorization for the same
Coordination with Central Billing Office to verify accuracy of claims, prior to their billing
Assist clients in Medicaid application process
Reconciliation of invoices for ancillary services, such as pharmacy, laboratory, diagnostic invoices
Management of Medicaid forms, 3618s and 3619s, and coordination with Nursing Home Billing
Other duties, as assigned by supervisor

Pay: $24.42 - $47.56 per hour
