Midwest Medcon is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for U.S. Veterans.
This is a unique opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a meaningful way while maintaining complete control over your schedule. There is no treatment, prescribing, call coverage, medication management, or patient follow-up required.

What You'll Do
As a contracted Nurse Practitioner, you will:
- Conduct disability evaluation exams for Veterans
- Obtain detailed medical histories
- Perform focused physical examinations
- Review medical records and diagnostic studies
- Complete objective medical documentation and reports
- Provide evidence-based medical opinions when requested

Qualifications
Required
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri
- National NP certification
- Excellent history-taking and physical assessment skills
- Strong written documentation abilities
- Ability to review extensive medical records and maintain attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, orthopedics, disability evaluations, or working with Veteran populations
