Job Description:

Are you a short-form content wizard who knows how to capture attention and spark engagement in under 60 seconds? Phoenix Building Solutions — a leading manufacturer of custom park model homes — is looking for a creative, self-driven video editor & social media specialist to turn our raw video footage into high-performing content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels.

You’ll be videoing clips (often shot via smartphone) of our homes, tours, and behind-the-scenes moments. Your job: edit them into scroll-stopping viral content, apply trending sounds and captions, and manage posting across our social channels.

Responsibilities:

Edit and repurpose short-form video content for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, etc.
Apply viral trends, captions, emojis, and music using tools like CapCut or OpusClip
Use AI tools (e.g., Synthesia, HeyGen, OpusClip) to scale and stylize content
Create thumbnails and punchy text overlays
Develop and follow a weekly posting calendar (3–5 videos/week)
Analyze post performance and tweak based on engagement
Write creative, on-brand captions and hashtags
Optional: occasional story or carousel creation on Instagram/Facebook
Create Onsite & on Location Interview Testimonial Videos

Qualifications:

Proven experience creating viral or high-performing short-form videos
Strong understanding of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels algorithm behavior
Proficient with CapCut, Canva, OpusClip, or similar tools
Understanding of AI tools (or willingness to learn fast)
Bonus: Experience in real estate, construction, or tiny homes
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Portfolio of past short-form content required

Location:

Based in or near Greenville, Alabama preferred — must be on site not remote.
