Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and special education, with a focus on working with children and individuals on the autism spectrum. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing effective behavioral interventions to enhance the quality of life for our clients.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create effective treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child.
Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques and monitor progress toward goals.
Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on behavior management strategies.
Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development.

Experience

A minimum of two years of experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disorders.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health.
Strong understanding of special education practices and regulations.
Experience conducting patient assessments and providing patient care in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes for behavioral issues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
