We are looking for a skilled Outpatient Medical Coder to assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for outpatient services such as physician visits, ER, OP surgeries, diagnostics, and clinic encounters.

Key Responsibilities

Review outpatient medical records and assign accurate codes

Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines and payer rules

Code OP surgeries, ER charts, diagnostic services, and ambulatory visits

Query providers for documentation clarification

Maintain 95–98% coding accuracy

Meet productivity targets and assist in audits

Qualifications

Certification: CPC / COC / CCS-P

Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS

Knowledge of outpatient billing and payer rules

Experience with EMR/EHR systems

Preferred Skills

ER, Same-Day Surgery, Observation Coding experience

Familiarity with NCCI edits and outpatient modifiers
