Mechanical Senior Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centers

Location: USA (Travel Required & On-site/Office)
Package: $165,000 - $210,000 Base + Bonus + Per Diem + Company Vehicle/Allowance + Full Benefits

If you've successfully delivered large-scale mechanical packages on hyperscale data center projects and are looking for the next step in your career, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

We're working with one of the leading mechanical contractors in the mission critical sector, with a multi-billion-dollar project backlog and partnerships with some of the world's largest technology companies. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-profile data center projects across the United States.

This is an opportunity to join a business that invests in its people, promotes from within, and offers long-term career stability on some of the most technically challenging projects in the industry.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of large-scale mechanical packages on hyperscale data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning.
Manage Project Managers, Project Engineers and site teams to ensure successful project execution.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement and risk management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Drive project profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Coordinate closely with electrical, civil and general contractor teams.
Provide leadership across multiple projects where required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering hyperscale or mission critical data center projects.
Demonstrated experience managing mechanical construction packages valued above $40M.
Strong background in chilled water systems, HVAC, piping and complex MEP installations.
Ability to lead Project Managers, Project Engineers and large site teams on fast-paced projects.
Strong commercial, financial and contract management experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel as project requirements dictate.

Please note: Direct hyperscale or mission critical data center experience is essential. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
