Job Title: Provisionally Licensed Behavior Analyst (PLBA / BCBA Candidate) – Growth & Organizational Development Track

Location: 3774 Hess Road, Byrnes Mill, MO 63051

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Schedule: School-based hours (typically 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience, skill, and overall fit)

Job Summary

Looking for a developing behavior analyst who cares more about meaningful, hands-on work than high-volume caseloads. If you’re someone who wants to grow thoughtfully, be part of a strong team, and contribute to something bigger than just your own caseload, this may be a good fit.

About Our Program

Experiential Learning is a private therapeutic day school serving children ages 2.5–10, both on and off the autism spectrum.

Our model is intentionally different. We integrate academics, behavior support, communication, and daily living skills into a full-day, immersive environment built on hands-on learning, creativity, and student interests.

Our focus is not compliance—it is meaningful engagement and growth. At the core of our work is the practice of independence, not unsupervised freedom.

This role is designed for someone who is on the path to becoming a BCBA and wants to grow in a setting that values clinical thinking, flexibility, and real-world application.

You might be:

Provisionally licensed and building your confidence
Preparing to sit for the BCBA exam
Someone who hasn’t passed the exam yet, but knows you’re capable and committed to getting there

What the Role Looks Like Day to Day

Supporting assessments and treatment planning under BCBA supervision
Implementing and helping refine individualized programming
Collecting and reviewing data to support clinical decisions
Working closely with RBTs, teachers, and leadership
Participating in and supporting parent training
Collaborating with families and team members
Contributing ideas and observations that help improve the program
Keeping documentation and communication up to date

Fully school-based (no driving between clients)
Predictable daytime schedule
Daily access to experienced BCBAs and leadership
Ongoing mentorship and honest feedback
Exposure to how a program actually grows and evolves

Qualifications

Provisionally licensed behavior analyst OR actively pursuing BCBA certification
Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, or related field (completed or near completion)
Experience working with children with autism or related developmental differences
Foundational understanding of ABA principles, DTT, and natural environment teaching
Experience or strong exposure to parent training (required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 depending on experience and fit
