We are casting versatile improvisational actors for short-form comedy commercials, social media skits, and character-based promotional videos.
Actors will perform in funny, staged scenarios built around everyday situations, fictional dating moments, misunderstandings, awkward encounters, jealousy, exaggerated personalities, public interactions, and comedic relationship conflict.
This is a performance-based role. Actors will receive a scene premise, character motivation, and important story beats, then improvise natural dialogue and reactions on camera.
Scenes may be filmed in private locations, businesses, outdoor settings, or public places around other people. Actors must be comfortable performing in public, staying in character around bystanders, and maintaining professionalism in real-world environments.
No nudity, explicit sexual content, physical violence, dangerous behavior, threats, or property damage will be required.
Responsibilities
Actors will be expected to:
- Perform short-form comedy scenes for social media and commercial content
- Improvise dialogue naturally within a planned scenario
- Create believable, funny, memorable characters
- Perform staged fictional dating situations, misunderstandings, awkward encounters, or verbal disagreements
- Take direction from production during filming
- React naturally to other actors and scene partners
- Portray multiple character types with different voices, energy, wardrobe, and personality
- Provide basic wardrobe for submitted character types
- Perform in public places when required
- Stay professional around bystanders, customers, staff, or members of the public
- Follow all safety, location, and production rules
- Arrive on time and be prepared for each filming day
Public scenes will be staged for camera. Actors should not harass, touch, threaten, block, or involve bystanders unless specifically directed by production and appropriate consent/permissions are in place.

Acting, improv, sketch comedy, theater, social media, commercial, or content-creation experience is preferred, but strong natural performers are also welcome to apply.
Character and Wardrobe Requirement
Each applicant must submit three distinctly different character types they could portray in the commercials.
Actors should choose characters that fit their own strengths, appearance, personality, wardrobe access, or performance range.

Actors are encouraged to suggest any other recognizable character types they can perform convincingly.
Each selected actor must provide their own basic wardrobe for all three submitted characters. Wardrobe should clearly communicate the character on camera without needing an explanation.
Production may provide or add featured commercial clothing, accessories, branded wardrobe, or products during filming.
Please do not purchase expensive clothing specifically for the audition. Use clothing, accessories, makeup, hairstyles, and props you already own or can easily access.
Specific Recurring Need
One recurring role requires a performer who can portray a woman with a convincing, head-to-toe goth aesthetic.
Applicants interested in this role should submit in authentic or camera-ready goth styling. The look should read unmistakably goth on camera and may include coordinated hair, makeup, clothing, footwear, jewelry, piercings, tattoos, or accessories.
This is not a modeling-only role. The performer must also be able to act and improvise.
Public Filming Requirement
Some scenes may be filmed in public or semi-public locations such as sidewalks, parks, stores, gyms, restaurants, parking lots, events, or other real-world settings.
Actors must be comfortable:
- Performing around strangers or bystanders
- Staying focused while people are nearby
- Speaking lines or improvising in public
- Handling attention from people watching filming
- Maintaining professionalism in public spaces
- Following all location rules and production instructions
- Avoiding unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior
All public filming will be handled as professionally as possible. Actors will not be asked to do dangerous stunts, harass strangers, damage property, or create unsafe situations.

Part One: Three Characters
Choose the three character types you would bring to the production.
Using the same situation below, perform approximately 20–30 seconds as each character:
Scenario:You arrive somewhere and discover that another person has taken the seat you reserved. You need to convince them to move.
Show how each character responds differently through:
- Voice
- Physicality
- Facial expressions
- Attitude
- Energy
- Word choice
- Emotional reaction
- Comedic timing
Please wear or show the basic wardrobe for each character. Simple editing or cuts between characters are acceptable.
We are not looking for three versions of the same personality. Each performance should feel like a clearly different person.
Part Two: Improvised Relationship Scene
Choose one of your three characters.
Your fictional romantic partner arrives late and gives you an explanation that does not make sense. Improvise a staged confrontation lasting approximately 45–60 seconds.
The scene should include:
- A believable opening
- Natural listening and reactions
- Gradual escalation
- A comedic turn
- A clear ending
An off-camera reader may respond to you if needed.
Do not include physical violence, threats, property damage, dangerous behavior, or anything sexually explicit.
