Full Job Description

Are you are seeking a position in a team-oriented family of a practice, where you can grow, develop and be appreciated? We support our team in all ways because it's what you do for family. We are so proud to say that in our ten years, we have nurtured several new veterinarians with another in vet school now, multiple licensed veterinary technicians with 2 in school now (while still working with us). School is important - so we flex and adapt our staff schedule for students each new semester.

We pay our staff well (based upon experience) and provide an amazing benefits package for full timers incl. paid vacation, personal, sick, and bereavement time, health insurance, retirement plan, and generous pet care discounts. We truly do have a drama-free workplace (ask our staff) where there's always good music, endless coffee, lots of chocolate, and constant showers of yummy treats from our awesome clients.

BTW - We are a medical facility only - No boarding. No grooming. (So, there's no kennel to clean, hear, or smell)

Our veterinary assistants work directly with our doctors during appointments, and assist our licensed technicians with medical and surgical care. Assistants also clean and maintain our beautiful, odor-free, stylish facility. All staff are cross trained to assist with phones and to fill prescriptions, as well. It's a great role to learn and develop essential skills for general veterinary practice. We love multi-taskers that have broad ranging experience with pets and people! This role will include some time at the reception desk, as well.

We love working with pre-vet students and vet tech students especially.

Please - serious inquiries and experienced (1 year MINIMUM) applicants only. Comfort with computers is a must, as is comfort with humans. We use Avimark software and no paper charts.

Please note that Saturday hours are until just 1 pm and some evenings until 7pm are a must for this position, as is the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (Closed on Sundays)
