About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a Network Engineer to join a Network Engineering & Operations team supporting a large-scale enterprise environment. This team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, reliable network connectivity, while partnering closely with Architecture, Security, and Risk organizations to ensure infrastructure meets performance, stability, and regulatory standards.
In this role, the Network Engineer will focus on vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives within a major enterprise program. This includes supporting efforts to ensure network infrastructure aligns with established security standards through patching, upgrades, and configuration management, while maintaining stability in a production environment.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Validate and remediate network vulnerabilities identified through enterprise scanning processes
- Ensure network infrastructure complies with defined security baselines and configuration standards
- Perform impact analysis and determine applicability of vulnerabilities
- Execute remediation activities (patching, configuration changes, upgrades)
- Support change management processes for production deployments
- Maintain documentation to support compliance reporting and audit readiness
- Partner with NOC and Engineering teams to validate fixes and ensure stability
- Track assigned remediation tasks and meet defined SLAs
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or network engineering role
- Strong foundational knowledge of routing and switching
- Experience troubleshooting production network environments
- Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to vulnerability management or compliance processes
- Experience with Cisco and/or Arista platforms
- Basic scripting or automation experience
