ICBS provides repair, full functional stress load testing, calibration and logistic services while delivering robust repair analytics to improve the performance of your network. Our capabilities support wireline, wireless, inside & outside plant network infrastructures.
ICBS maintains an extensive inventory of new and refurbished equipment all fully tested in our lab. We offer in-house repair services focusing on manufactured discontinued equipment. Our customers consist of Telecom, Cable, Enterprise, Electric Utilities, Healthcare, Railroad, Oil & Gas, Government and Cloud Networks.
JOB SUMMARY:
New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Test Development for multiple Wireline platforms, technologies, developing system test configurations and associated provisioning, documenting Test Procedures. Publish system test procedures and train others with documentation. Work with peers in Operations and Engineering to complete New Product Introduction (NPI) of platforms from multiple OEMs post warranty.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installation and turn-up of Systems with and/or without OEM documentation and required network test equipment. Test plan and development of test configurations and procedures for verification of System level Modules and Circuit Packs. Develop scripts as necessary to accelerate testing and diagnostic activities.
- Participate in Project Planning and create ECNs for high runner boards
- Work with upper management to turn up new platforms while monitoring trouble boards needing additional knowledge and repair research.
- Develop, create and document Test Instructions (TI), the ability to train others with these documents is a requirement.
- Train shop technicians on test procedures and provide technical support.
- Manage special projects while performing other technical duties as needed
WORK EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
· Five or more years’ experience working at the Engineering level with testing, test development of telecom, video, optical or data equipment. Design and Network experience is a plus.
· Minimum of five years direct experience with Wireline Technology having a working knowledge of how various OEM systems work, interact including direct experience with troubleshooting, testing, and certification. Experience with Wireline equipment from Nortel, Cisco, Ciena, Infinera, Tellabs and Nokia preferred.
· Must have experience in test planning, test requirement analysis, test case development, test execution, and scripting for automation.
· Excellent verbal, written, and PC skills.
