Full Job Description

Yourway, the BioPharma Services Company, is looking for an experienced Controller for their corporate office in Allentown, PA. The Controller will work closely with the VP of Finance and leadership team and is responsible for oversight, tracking and evaluation of day-to-day finance/operating activities of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the US accounting department as well as oversight and reconciliation of related international companies
Monthly and year-end closing procedures
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable function including aging analysis and customer payment reconciliation
Oversee monthly reconciliation of corporate credit cards, etc
Responsible for payroll and human resources functions
Monitor general ledger, verifying proper and consistent use of chart of accounts
Budgeting, cash and sales forecasting
Monitor account set up for customers and vendors
Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
Capital (fixed) asset reconciliations
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Work with third-party accountants, attorneys, and other professionals
Assist with preparation of corporate and individual tax returns
Knowledge of US and International tax law
Oversee the insurance program and work with agents on annual renewals
Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Meet financial accounting objectives
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Supervision of accounting staff (12 individuals)
Responsible for finance/accounting function of other business interests
Other duties as assigned
