Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Plant Manager to provide end‑to‑end leadership across all plant departments, with a clear focus on customer satisfaction, operational transparency, and accountability at every level. This role is responsible for aligning operations, production, quality, supply chain, maintenance, safety, and administrative functions to deliver consistent results that meet customer expectations and business objectives.

The successful candidate will be a visible, hands‑on leader who sets clear expectations, holds teams accountable, and builds cross‑functional alignment while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, open communication, and performance ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and management of all plant departments, ensuring alignment to customer requirements, company strategy, and financial targets.
Lead with a customer‑first mindset, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality performance, and responsiveness to changing customer needs.
Establish and reinforce a culture of transparency and accountability, including clear performance metrics, regular operating reviews, and consistent follow‑through.
Drive manufacturing excellence by optimizing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity across operations.
Oversee production planning and execution using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MRP tools to ensure schedule adherence and inventory discipline.
Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to proactively address risks, constraints, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Champion lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, streamline processes, and improve throughput.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety‑first culture.
Develop and mentor departmental leaders, building bench strength and accountability throughout the organization.
Provide clear, fact‑based communication to leadership regarding plant performance, challenges, and improvement plans.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing operations with full plant accountability.
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), MRP, and operational reporting.
Proven success driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Solid understanding of manufacturing equipment, processes, and production flow.
Ability to lead cross‑functional teams with authority, clarity, and consistency.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on root cause and sustainable solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field required; advanced certifications or training a plus.
