Lifekind Health is seeking Registered Dietitians to join our team. Participates in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans. Provides advice and counsel on food and nutrition to patients in individual and group settings.

Job Duties

Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans
Assess patient lifestyle, nutrition, and health needs
Assist patients in the development of specific nutrition goals
Develop thorough and cost-efficient meal plans that include healthy foods and meet nutritional goals
Evaluate the effects of meal plans and change the plans as needed
Counsel patients on the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases in individual and group settings
Translate nutrition science into understandable, practical eating advice
Keep up with the latest nutritional science research
Provide services in accordance with company guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations.
Prepares and reviews patient histories and obtains data through interviews
Maintains detailed, legible and confidential medical records after each patient visit in accordance with established protocols
Codes encounter forms according to time of the visit, procedures performed and pertinent ICD-codes
Attend internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences and participates on task forces or committees, as necessary and/or required by company
Performs all duties and services in full compliance with Company standards of care as well as all policies and procedures
Follows Company Standards of Customer Service Behavior
Participates in Quality Improvement (QI) Initiatives
Complies with Attendance & Punctuality Policy
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Current Registered Dietitian licensure/certification in Arizona.
Recent graduates to 3 years of relevant work experience; Training available
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Bilingual in Spanish/English (preferable).
