We are seeking an exceptional Business Analyst to serve as the strategic architect and controller of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and product lifecycle management within Oracle's Fusion environment. This is a critical role that directly impacts Oracle's ability to deploy cloud infrastructure systems globally and meet aggressive execution timelines for our Networking and Standalone Hardware products.
In this role, you will be the definitive authority on product data integrity, managing complex BOM structures from engineering development through manufacturing to End of Life. Your decisions will ensure that Oracle's infrastructure products are accurately defined, compliant, and ready for worldwide deployment. This is highly complex work where precision, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership are essential to success.
Responsibilities
Strategic Product Lifecycle Management
- Plan and execute comprehensive product release activities, ensuring Networking and Standalone Hardware products transition effectively from engineering development to internal and external manufacturers on schedule
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle including new product introductions, sustaining releases, and End of Life transitions
Communicate major milestones and critical issues that significantly impact program execution to Product Teams and senior leadership

BOM Architecture & Data Governance
- Create, maintain, and control Bill of Materials (BOMs) for multiple system configurations, options, and Field Replaceable Units (FRUs) within Fusion environment
- Serve as the single source of truth for product structure and configuration management
- Create and manage manufacturing parts with precise attribution, handling large volumes of corporate data from internal product teams and external supplier sources
Ensure BOM accuracy, compliance, and alignment with engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements

Change Management Leadership
- Lead cross-functional Change Management teams to evaluate, prioritize, and implement product changes
- Create, manage, and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Manufacturer Change Orders (MCOs), Deviations, and Product Declarations
- Define change governance processes and decision criteria to balance product improvement with manufacturing stability
Communicate release schedules and change status to product teams and contract manufacturers with clarity and precision

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Excellence
- Represent coordination functions to resolve complex process issues across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality organizations
- Partner with contract manufacturers to ensure seamless product transitions and ongoing support
- Develop training materials and job aids to standardize processes and improve team capability
Drive continuous improvement in product data management and release processes

Leadership & Mentorship
- Set strategic objectives and accurately estimate time, resources, and effort required for complex initiatives
- Mentor Business Analysts and cross-functional product team members on BOM management, change control, and product lifecycle best practices
Establish standards and best practices for product data management across the organization

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in product lifecycle management, BOM management, or related business analysis roles
- Proven experience managing complex product structures in enterprise systems (Fusion, Oracle Cloud, ERP systems)
- Oracle Fusion Product Development is required
Demonstrated track record managing Engineering Change Orders and cross-functional change management processes

- Deep expertise in Bill of Materials structures, configuration management, and product data management
- Strong proficiency with Oracle Fusion or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and methodologies
Understanding of hardware manufacturing processes and supply chain operations
