Personal Assistant & Marketing Support

Pure Smiles Dentistry | Marietta, GA | Full-Time, In-Person

Most days here are full from the moment we open, with the doctor chairside and patients coming through the door. That means we need someone we trust to keep everything else moving. That might be running an errand across town, putting together a spreadsheet, dropping by a local business to introduce Pure Smiles, or catching the ten things mentioned in passing and making sure they actually get done.

This is the right-hand role to the owner of a busy, growing family dental practice in Marietta. No two days look the same. Some are calm and organized, some are a bit of a scramble, and the best person for this enjoys both. If you like being the one people count on, and you take real pride in following through, you will fit right in here.

Keeping things on track

Because the owner is with patients most of the day, he can be hard to reach, and we need someone comfortable with that. You would keep a running list of what is open, follow up for the answers you need, and keep things moving without waiting to be told twice. There is no shortage of ideas around here, so plenty will come your way. The trick is catching what matters, parking the rest for later, and not feeling buried by a full plate.

Getting out into the community

A real part of this job is ground marketing. We want someone happy to walk into nearby businesses, introduce the practice, and strike up a conversation with people they have just met. If you are outgoing and you genuinely enjoy talking to strangers, this part will be fun for you. We are proud of this practice and the community we serve, and you would be one of the faces of it out in the neighborhood.

The everyday stuff

Errands, ordering supplies or lunch, booking travel, organizing documents, and handling whatever comes up that day. Nothing is above or below this role. We need someone humble enough to say yes to a quick errand and sharp enough to take on a bigger project and run with it.

Higher-level help

We would love someone comfortable with technology who can build a clean spreadsheet, pick up new software quickly, and use AI tools to work faster and smarter. If you already lean on AI to get things done, even better.

These come from experience, so it is worth being upfront about them:

This is a full-time, in-person role at our Marietta office, not remote or hybrid. We have found the job only works when someone is here with the team day to day, so if you are hoping for remote, this honestly is not the right fit.
We need this to be your focus, not one of two jobs.
We value people who do what they say. We would much rather hear that something will take a week and then have it done, than be promised two days and left waiting.
When the owner is traveling or slammed with patients, there will not always be a list ready. The right person figures out what needs doing, asks around, and keeps busy. And when things are genuinely quiet, that is okay too. You stay on the clock, and there is almost always something useful to jump into.

What you need to bring

Reliable transportation, since you will run errands and visit local businesses
Organized and dependable, with strong follow-through
Comfortable on a computer and quick to pick up new tools
Outgoing and humble, genuinely happy to help wherever it is needed

Nice to have

Previous experience as an assistant or in a similar support role
A background or interest in marketing, social media, or community outreach
Already comfortable using AI tools day to day
Associate's degree or equivalent experience

Compensation and benefits

Full-time, in-person, at our Marietta office.

$23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience
Holiday pay
Paid time off that grows with tenure: 5 days after one year, 10 days after two years, and 15 days after three years
401(k) after one year, with a 3% non-elective safe harbor contribution (the practice contributes 3% whether or not you put in your own)
Dental coverage (health insurance is not offered)
