Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pantry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and organizing ingredients, ensuring food safety standards are met, and assisting in the overall meal preparation process. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and has a keen eye for detail in food presentation and quality.

Responsibilities

Prepare and organize pantry items, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Prepare, sauces, doughs, protiens, and stocks for use on line.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines during all food handling processes.
Collaborate with chefs to assist in meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes.
Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as required.
Monitor inventory levels of pantry supplies and communicate needs to the head chef.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a cook or pantry chef.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Experience with menu planning and food preparation techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
