Position Summary
The Bag Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting airbag systems according to detailed customer specifications and internal quality standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring product reliability, safety, and on-time production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble airbag components from initial layout through final completion according to work instructions and order requirements
· Operate ovens and production equipment within specified process parameters
· Drill and modify components per technical specifications
· Perform leak testing to ensure product integrity
· Inspect finished products for quality and ISO compliance
· Complete production and quality documentation
· Maintain a clean and safe work area (5S standards)
· Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
· Report quality or safety issues immediately
· Support team members to meet production goals
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED preferred
· 1+ year manufacturing or assembly experience (preferred)
· Ability to read and follow work instructions
· Strong attention to detail
· Basic mechanical aptitude
· Reliable attendance and teamwork
