Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth as well as SRPs
- Take dental x-rays and CBCT images
- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures when/if necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

- Valid dental hygienist license in the state of Colorado
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Proficiency in using Open Dental (not required)
- Knowledge of coding systems for dental procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a team environment
