About Eliza Jane Events
Eliza Jane Events is a full-service event planning company specializing in creating beautiful and memorable weddings. We are known for our attention to detail, personalized service, and ability to execute flawless events. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Wedding Designer to join our team for the upcoming wedding season.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Wedding Style Guide Designer to support the creative direction for our full service planning clients. This role is responsible for interpreting client questionnaires and translating their preferences into cohesive wedding design concepts using Canva.

You will build design decks that outline color palette, floral direction, rental selections, signage style, and overall aesthetic guidance. The goal is to present the couple with a clear visual identity that guides vendor decisions and brings the wedding vision to life.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for wedding design and styling who enjoys working independently, can synthesize multiple inspirations into one cohesive direction, and understands how design connects to realistic rental and floral budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Review the client design questionnaire and any existing notes
Create wedding style guides in Canva that may include:
Color palette and tone direction
Floral concept and suggested floral approach
Rental and décor selections (tables, chairs, linens, glassware, lounges)
Ceremony and reception layout aesthetics
Signage and stationery inspiration
Make recommendations that consider budget, venue aesthetic, and logistics
Communicate with the lead planner to refine and finalize the guide

Qualifications

Strong experience using Canva for layered presentations and design mood boards
A natural understanding of wedding design, aesthetic cohesion, and visual storytelling
Familiarity with wedding rentals, florals, and how these pieces influence overall budget
Able to interpret diverse client preferences and distill them into a polished direction
Resourceful, detail oriented, and comfortable working independently
Experience in event design, floral design, styling, or similar preferred

Schedule and Workflow
This is a project based role with flexible remote scheduling. Each project typically requires 3 to 4 hours and is communicated in advance.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
