Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction materials, road building, or heavy civil sales.
- Strong knowledge of Cement Treated Base (CTB), soil-cement, or related stabilization methods.
- Familiarity with mix design, compaction standards, curing processes, and quality control testing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Experience working with contractors, DOT standards, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-phase sales cycles.
- Strong estimating, quoting, and margin management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

About Your Role
The CTB Stabilization Sales Representative is responsible for the introduction and driving of revenue growth for the innovative and alternative product of Cement Treated Base (CTB) stabilization solutions within traditional markets, including full-depth reclamation (FDR). This role blends technical expertise with sales execution to deliver durable, high-strength base systems for heavy-load applications such as roadways and equipment yards for commercial and government customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Assist with other duties as assigned.
Drive CTB Sales and Revenue Growth

Identify and develop new opportunities in agricultural pads, road construction, and heavy-use surfaces.

Promote CTB as a high-performance alternative to traditional aggregate or untreated bases.

Build a strong pipeline and achieve or exceed sales and margin targets.

Execute territory strategies focused on large-scale and repeatable projects.
Conduct Site Assessments and Solution Development

Evaluate subgrade conditions, traffic loads, and structural requirements.

Recommend CTB mix designs, materials, and installation approaches based on operational requirements.

Partner with internal and external engineers to ensure structural integrity and performance.

Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, operational, and durability standards.
Prepare and Present Quotes and Proposals

Develop detailed and accurate project quotes, including materials, labor, and timelines.
- Present proposals to customers, clearly articulating value, performance benefits, and total cost of ownership.

Negotiate pricing, scope, and terms to close business while maintaining margin expectations.

Ensure timely follow-up on all proposals and customer inquiries.
Manage Customer Relationships

Build relationships with producers, contractors, engineers, and project owners.

Serve as the key contact throughout design, bidding, and construction phases.

Maintain consistent communication and ensure customer satisfaction.

Resolve issues and provide technical guidance during execution.
Coordinate Project Execution

Coordinate with contractors, batch plants, and operations teams.

Assist in scheduling and logistics for cement delivery and mixing operations.

Monitor installation quality, curing, and adherence to specifications.

Conduct post-installation follow-ups and performance evaluations.
Maintain CRM and Sales Reporting

Track all customer interactions, bids, and project outcomes in CRM.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.

Ensure documentation of specifications, pricing, and project data.

Working Conditions

The work environment is the typical office environment. The employee must complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, clients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others.
