Pharmacist-in-Charge

Friday Harbor, San Juan Island, WA (relocation required from Seattle)

$190,000 – $200,000 for the right candidate + 20% ownership stake after 5 years + full relocation support

Picture this: orcas in the water on your morning commute, a 5-minute walk to work through a harbour town, and a pharmacy you run as your own, with a real ownership stake in it.

Life on San Juan Island

Sitting in the heart of the Salish Sea, just 90 miles north of Seattle (a scenic ferry from Anacortes or a seaplane hop away), San Juan Island is one of the most strikingly beautiful spots in the Pacific Northwest, all forested coastline, quiet coves and big open water.

Your days off could look like sea kayaking, hiking and biking, whale and wildlife watching from spring through autumn, and exploring local farms, vineyards and farm-to-table restaurants. Friday Harbor itself is a walkable little town with boutique shopping, a cinema and a theatre, small-town warmth with everything you actually need on your doorstep!

What you'll be doing

Running the pharmacy as your own; you'll own the schedule, lead the team, and make the day-to-day calls.
Leading a team of three technicians and another pharmacist, with a separate manager handling the retail front-end so you can focus on the pharmacy.
Keeping up with a busy, fast-moving dispensary processing roughly 300–600 scripts a day, with high transfer volumes through the island's long, tourism-driven peak season.
Making the most of the on-site automation (dispensing robots and prescription tech) to keep the workflow smooth and safe.
Being the clinical anchor for the team, the person staff and patients turn to and trust.

An established independent, part of a pharmacist-owned group running several locations across multiple states. Owned and run by pharmacists, it's a business that genuinely understands the bench, not a corporate head office far removed from the day-to-day.
