Full Job Description

About the Job:

Responsible for high volume product image editing (80-100+ images a day) and asset management of post production files.

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing: Percentage of Time:

Performs high volume image editing (basic retouching, resizing, masking, color correction) 90%
Digital asset management of product images (pre/post production) on image servers 10%
Coordinate with site merchandising team and upload finished product files to image servers for Pacsun.com
QA on live images on Pacsun.com
Performs other related duties as assigned

What it takes to Join:

Degree is preferred, but not required
Intermediate Adobe Photoshop skills
Knowledge of web optimization and image hosting servers.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite
Digital asset management (Up to 100k+ files annually combined w/ rest of the team)
Photography background a plus
Highly organized and detail oriented
Schedule flexibility based on seasonal needs of the department (Holiday, Back to school, etc).

Salary Range: ($57,598 - $65,702)

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
