Job Description

We are seeking a Pool Repair Technician to become part of our team. This position begins as a subcontractor on a per-job basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role on an annual salary (our preference as we get to know each other). Job Summary

We’re hiring a Pool Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix all residential and commercial pool equipment and systems. This field role focuses on repairs and installations (pumps, filters, heaters, automation, plumbing, salt/chlorine systems, leak detection, pool finishes, electrical components). Strong technical skills, problem-solving, and reliable customer communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Repair major and minor issues with equipment
Complete repair work orders in a timely fashion
Covering pools when technicians can’t show up to work
Diagnostic visits (pump won’t turn off, spa drained, algae in pool, etc.)
First-time customer visit (equipment checklist, go over our service processes with them)
Green-to-clean treatments (1-3 consecutive visits, filter clean if needed, etc.)
Startups on new builds
Filter cleans, salt cell cleans
Represent the company professionally at all times
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years pool repairs REQUIRED (more experience preferred)
Must have your own truck
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor daily
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Good communication skills - both with office staff and customers
Ability to troubleshoot common pool issues
