Job Description: Senior Consultant (Southwest)

The Company:

We do not actually perform the cleaning services or manage any cleaning personnel; rather, we consult and provide software for the end-user organizations to help them optimize their cleaning programs.

The Position:

This offering is for a part-time, hourly position and includes 401K after one year (with company matching).

The Sr. Consultant will apply their professional cleaning and management skills and experience to support our various consulting projects and site visits. Primarily performing quality audits on-site with customers in the Southwest U.S., the Sr. Consultant will work with internal and external teams to support project communication, site visit activities, quality audits, reporting, information collection and analysis, developments of findings and recommendations; in short, to do whatever it takes to make our customers happy and engaged. The ultimate responsibility of the Sr. Consultant is to use their knowledge to visit our customers, helping them achieve cleaner, healthier, and safer facilities.

Requirements:

· Based in the southwest U.S., preferably in the Phoenix market

· 10+ years in the cleaning industry, at least 5 of which as a front-line supervisor or manager with cleaning staff or cleaning supervisors as direct reports

· Experience managing large cleaning programs (programs at least 500,000 square feet and/or consisting of 50 or more cleaning team members)

· Willingness to travel (primarily in the southwest U.S. to include CA, NM, IL, TX & OK markets). This is primarily a traveling position, which will include a few days per week away from home up to the full week away. Weekend travel is very rare.

· Preferred: Experience with quality inspections, cleaning specifications / SOW’s, training, and quality improvement initiatives

Duties include:

· Travel regularly to customer locations to perform on-site quality audits, building reviews, training and coaching, supply and equipment reviews, and other miscellaneous services

· Plan and book travel details, and organize / submit receipts and expense reports in a timely manner

· Analyze, summarize, and develop findings/recommendations based on collected information and site visits. Send notes back to home office

· Occasional visits to home office in Endicott, NY

· Use insights from stakeholders, program documentation, site visits, and customer discussions to inform the decision-making team

· May assist with marking-up building drawings to identify space usage, floor coverings, and fixture counts

· Identify additional customer needs and offer new ideas to support long-term customer relationships and quality improvement

· Communicate effectively with others to exchange information, streamline processes, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely manner

· Join customer calls and communications

· Assist internal teams with other duties and special projects

· Provide flexible, patient, and creative solutions to issues as they arise

Skills / Qualifications:

· Competence, timeliness, quality, organization, friendliness, flexibility, and excellence are characteristics the individual must represent

· Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider at least 10+ years of relevant cleaning industry / management experience

· Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook proficiency

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Experience using cleaning industry software (primarily for quality inspections)

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills required

· Sense of urgency to meet internal and external customer requirements

· Must be a positive, hardworking person able to work successfully with a diverse group of users, customers, team members, and internal departments
