Position Overview
Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) seeks a dynamic and experienced Program Director of Family Medicine Residency to lead its ACGME-accredited program. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of residency operations, accreditation, curriculum development, faculty leadership, and resident education while maintaining an active clinical practice.

Develop and oversee a comprehensive family medicine curriculum

Ensure strong training in inpatient, outpatient, obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and community medicine

Promote scholarly activity, research, and quality improvement
Faculty & Resident Oversight

Recruit, mentor, and evaluate core faculty

Lead resident recruitment, evaluation, mentorship, and professional development

Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with ACGME Institutional and Family Medicine Program Requirements

Lead accreditation readiness and continuous program improvement

Chair the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) and Clinical Competency Committee (CCC)

Collaborate with hospital and GME leadership on strategic planning and budgeting
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree

Board Certified in Family Medicine

Minimum 3 years of GME leadership or core faculty experience

Eligible for Maine medical licensure
-
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
