Full Job Description

Overview

Nuvera Med Spa is a growing aesthetic practice launching a dedicated injectable program focused on Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, and biostimulators (including Sculptra). We are seeking an experienced Medical Director (MD or DO) to provide clinical oversight for a highly trained injector team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for low time commitment, flexible side income, and involvement in a modern aesthetic practice without the demands of a full-time clinical role. Injectable days will start to operate 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday), with steady but controlled initial volume. The Medical Director will provide oversight and guidance to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality aesthetic treatments.

Responsibilities

Provide medical oversight for injectable treatments (Botox, Dysport, fillers, Sculptra)
Review and approve clinical protocols and standing orders
Be available for consultation regarding complications or clinical questions
Perform periodic chart review and quality assurance
Optional: occasional in-person training or shadowing sessions (1–2x/month if needed)

Qualifications

MD or DO licensed in Pennsylvania
Background in dermatology, plastic surgery, family medicine, emergency medicine, or aestheticsPrior experience with injectables preferred (Botox, fillers, biostimulators)
Comfortable overseeing experienced RN injector
Responsive and collaborative in a fast-growing aesthetic environment

Time Commitment

Approximately 2–10 hours per month
Primarily remote/virtual availability
Occasional optional onsite visits
Optional additional compensation for in-person training days
Flexible structure depending on availability and engagement level
