About the Role
We’re hiring a Software Developer to design, build, and scale modern web applications end-to-end. You’ll work across frontend UI, backend services, APIs, asynchronous processing, and data layers—shipping features that are reliable, secure, and built to last.
This is a individual contributor role with real autonomy and real impact. You’ll have end-to-end ownership of features and meaningful input into technical decisions, quality standards, and delivery practices working in a remote-first environment.
Job Description
The Software Developer II works primarily as a .NET Web Developer for T&W Operations with the ability to work in an agile fast-paced environment, delivering products and modifications based on contract and customer requirements. A .NET Web Developer who writes clean & performant code, and can jump between backend logic, API design, and front-end integration. With the ability to handle shifting priorities quickly, preparing frequent releases, and providing high quality impacts for each sprint. Daily/weekly activities include but not limited to:
- Design, build, test, and deploy responsive web applications and services using .NET 8, 10 (or latest LTS), C#, ASP.NET
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that power our front ends and mobile clients
- Collaborate daily with product owners, designers, and QA in an Agile / Scrum environment (sprints & daily discussions)
- Work with modern front-end technologies, preferably Blazor and Razor
- Work with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL or other relational databases
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and rapid troubleshooting of production issues
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Refactor legacy code when needed while keeping technical debt under control
- Stay current with .NET ecosystem advancements and propose improvements that keep us moving rapidly forward while maintaining positive regression testing results
Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience working on Agile team is a required
- Ensure data integrity within various software applications
- Complies with internal ISO 9001 document control requirements
- Works with a team of software engineers to develop and maintain logistics applications including web, desktop, and mobile apps using ASP.NET Core, WPF, C# for web and desktop as well as Kotlin for mobile (Android)
- Assists management in analyzing user needs and developing software solutions, designing software, and customizing software for client use
- Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project requirements, performance metrics and interfaces
- Effectively communicates with management to relay the status of the project objectives on a regular basis
- Performs other tasks as needed
- Travel may be required
Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 4-years’ related experience in software development
- 4-years’ experience with C# (.NET Core preferred)
- 3-year experience with relational databases PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL
- JavaScript experience preferred
- Prior DoD/DOW / federal ATO submission experience preferred
- AI / Machine Learning Development preferred
- Kotlin/Java for Android experience preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must be capable of passing a drug screening
- Communicates using clear, concise, and accurate English, both verbal and written are required
Work Schedule
Regular hours will be Monday - Friday. Primarily First shift hour structure. Hours may require adjustment based on contract assignment and to meet customer missions and surge situations.
Work Environment
Generally, work is conducted in an inside environment may be a cubicle or office with close quarters, low to moderate noise, and bright or dim lighting. Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates and while on travel, some work may be conducted outside for military customers.
Other Essential Functions
Employees may be required to travel for work related tasks. Reliable transportation to office or work site is required.

Pay: $92,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
