Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices all over the country. We are currently in need of a Project Coordinator to join our team in Newport News, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, and opportunities for advancement.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, candidates, and customers.
- Update the applicant tracking system (ATS) daily to ensure all employee and candidate records are up to date.
- Assist candidates with applications and onboarding tasks to certify completion and accuracy.
- Recruit quality candidates for job opportunities in the Hampton Roads area.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with candidates.
- Conduct site safety inspections in shipyards and other customer locations.
- Develop working relationships with all current customers and identify opportunities to upsell candidates and additional services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Track personal protective equipment (PPE) distributed to plan for new orders.
- Assist the branch manager with various special projects and other tasks, as needed.
- Follow all company rules, policies, and procedures.
- Meet metrics provided by the company.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or the equivalent required.
- Experience in a shipyard environment preferred.
- Must be tech savvy with extensive experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be friendly, high-energy, and maintain a positive outlook.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- 10-Panel drug screen required.
- Must be a U.S Citizen and provide a birth certificate or passport.
