We're looking for an experienced Project Manager III to lead large-scale commercial construction projects and drive successful outcomes from preconstruction through project closeout. Your Opportunity

As a Project Manager III, you will lead projects ranging from $30 million to $50 million+, serving as the primary point of contact for project execution, financial performance, scheduling, risk management, client relations, and team leadership.

This role is ideal for a construction professional ready to take ownership of complex projects while helping mentor the next generation of construction leaders.

What You'll Do -

Lead Project Success

Manage the safe and successful delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through warranty.
Lead a single large-scale project or multiple projects simultaneously.
Establish project goals, execution strategies, and performance expectations.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Drive Financial Performance

Manage project budgets, forecasting, billing, and cost controls.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, subcontractor payments, and change management processes.
Negotiate fair and competitive project costs while protecting project profitability.
Monitor project financial health and proactively identify opportunities and risks.

Build and Maintain Strong Schedules

Collaborate with field leadership to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Coordinate procurement activities, long-lead materials, subcontractor performance, and project milestones.
Manage schedule updates and communicate project progress to stakeholders.

Lead High-Performing Teams

Mentor Project Engineers and junior Project Managers.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support recruiting and workforce development initiatives.
Help develop future leaders within Metcon.

Strengthen Client Relationships

Serve as a trusted partner to owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
Manage project communications, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder expectations.
Represent Metcon with professionalism and integrity throughout every phase of construction.

Support Preconstruction & Planning

Collaborate with Preconstruction teams during budgeting, estimating, logistics planning, and constructability reviews.
Assist with subcontractor procurement, scope reviews, and risk assessment.
Help ensure project success before construction begins.

Champion Safety & Quality

Promote and maintain a culture where safety is the highest priority.
Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and industry best practices.
Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to deliver exceptional quality and performance.

What You'll BringQualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
8–10 years of commercial construction experience.
Proven success managing complex commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration.
Experience managing projects valued between $30 million and $50 million or supporting larger, more complex projects.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
