Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects across manufacturing and construction environments from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, production, procurement, logistics, and field installation crews
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, customers, contractors, and vendors
Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure alignment with scope and deliverables
Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, delays, and cost overruns
Implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
Manage procurement timelines and ensure materials are available to meet production and installation schedules
Oversee subcontractors and external vendors to ensure performance, quality, and compliance
Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Track project costs and provide regular financial reporting and forecasting
Lead project meetings and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes and tools

Qualifications

Strong understanding of production processes, installation workflows, and construction coordination
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience with project management software and ERP systems (e.g., scheduling, budgeting, reporting tools)
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, construction, or a related industry. Willing to train qualified candidates
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Experience with custom manufacturing or made-to-order production environments
Familiarity with reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
