Full Job Description

BROC is a specialty construction contractor with nearly 40 years of experience delivering athletic, seating, and facility systems across the Western United States. We operate in a focused, highly specialized scope — not general contracting — which allows our Project Managers to run cleaner, better-controlled projects with repeatable systems and strong operational support.

We also believe in clear, timely communication. BROC responds to customer and General Contractor requests within 24 business hours, and we believe delivering good news and bad news promptly builds trust and keeps projects running smoothly.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in the Dallas–Fort Worth area who knows how to run projects in a GC-driven environment and enjoys owning the details that make projects succeed.

This role is ideal for someone who has managed construction projects before and wants to apply that experience in a more focused, organized, and professional specialty-trade environment.

What You’ll Do

You will manage projects from contract award through close-out, ensuring they are properly scoped, procured, scheduled, and delivered on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

Project & Technical Management

Review plans, specifications, and contracts
Perform takeoffs, counts, and quantity verification
Prepare, submit, and manage submittals and shop drawings
Review and comment on returned submittals for compliance
Manage RFIs, clarifications, and approvals
Obtain customer selections and final approvals

Procurement & Production

Issue purchase orders
Release products into production after approvals
Track fabrication and delivery timelines
Ensure all materials ship on time and complete

Scheduling & Coordination

Develop and maintain project schedules
Coordinate deliveries, field crews, and site readiness
Adjust schedules as conditions change
Communicate schedule updates clearly and professionally

Financial & Cost Control

Build and manage project budgets
Track job cost and margin
Identify and price change orders
Prepare and submit monthly progress billings
Coordinate with A/R and A/P

GC & Client Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact with General Contractors
Respond to GC and customer requests within 24 business hours
Communicate schedule, scope, and cost impacts clearly — whether good or bad
Resolve issues and disputes professionally and in accordance with contract terms

Project Controls & Documentation

Maintain complete and up-to-date purchase order logs, change order logs, submittal logs, and transmittal logs
Maintain accurate and organized project files and records
Ensure all project correspondence, approvals, and revisions are properly documented and traceable

Compliance

Ensure all licensing, permitting, insurance, and contractual obligations are met
Maintain accurate, auditable project documentation in accordance with BROC standards and contract requirements

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of construction Project Management experience (GC or subcontractor)
Strong ability to read plans, drawings, and specifications
Experience with:
Submittals and RFIs
Change orders
Purchase orders
Scheduling
Job cost and billing
Proficiency with Bluebeam (takeoffs, markups, quantity verification)
Experience with Revit or shop drawings is a plus
Comfortable communicating with General Contractors and field teams
Highly organized and detail-oriented
