Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Transcriptionist to accurately convert audio and video recordings into written documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality transcripts while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and proper formatting standards.

The ideal candidate has excellent listening skills, strong typing ability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple transcription assignments while meeting established deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe audio and video files into clear, well-formatted written documents.
Review and edit transcripts to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, punctuation, and readability.
Identify unclear audio segments and apply appropriate research or verification methods when needed.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
Follow client and company-specific transcription guidelines and formatting requirements.
Ensure completed transcripts meet quality and accuracy standards.
Manage multiple transcription projects while prioritizing deadlines effectively.
Perform quality checks on completed work before submission.
Maintain organized records of completed assignments and project status.
Communicate with team members regarding assignments, updates, and requirements.

Qualifications

Previous experience in transcription, data entry, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
Excellent listening comprehension and strong written communication skills.
Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to type efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with document management tools.
