Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Property Manager to lead the management of residential with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with housing regulations, and foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors. Your proactive approach will help maximize property value, enhance tenant satisfaction, and maintain smooth facility operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in property management, leveraging your skills in leasing, maintenance, and administrative coordination to create thriving communities.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations.
Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing vacant units, conducting tours, and negotiating lease agreements to maximize occupancy rates.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Rent Stabilization, Section 8 guidelines, and other relevant legal standards.
Utilize property management software such as AppFolio or MDS to maintain accurate records of rent payments, tenant information, and maintenance requests.
Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management tasks to ensure buildings are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Handle legal administrative processes related to lease contracts, eviction notices, and conflict resolution with tenants or vendors.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries promptly via phone or in person while maintaining professional office etiquette.
Conduct regular inspections to identify issues early and coordinate repairs efficiently.
Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, contracts, and property records while ensuring data entry accuracy.
Upsell additional services or amenities to tenants where appropriate to enhance their experience and increase revenue streams.

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
Familiarity with property management software such as MDS or AppFolio is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Rent Stabilized and Section 8 housing policies, and related legal frameworks.
Strong customer service skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette and conflict management abilities.
Experience in lease negotiations, contract administration, and facilities management is essential.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently within an office environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Administrative experience including data entry, filing systems, and office procedures related to real estate operations is required.
