Full Job Description

Hours:

Part-time approximatly 25 hours per week. Workload varies based on property needs and seasonal demands. Flexibility is available for many routine responsibilities; however, the successful candidate must be able to respond to time sensitive operational issues as they arise.

About the Position:

Seeking a dependable Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a commercial property. This role serves as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, contractors, and ownership while ensuring the property operates efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
Job function does not include property management accounting.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants.
Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee repairs.
Schedule and communicate with vendors and contractors.
Monitor property conditions and conduct routine inspections.
Respond promptly to tenant concerns and operational issues.
Maintain tenant, vendor, and property records.
Assist with lease administration, renewals, notices, and related documentation.
Coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
Provide regular updates to ownership.
Respond to urgent property matters as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial or residential property management, facilities management, office management, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and property management software.
Reliable transportation.

The successful candidate is dependable, proactive, and calm under pressure. They communicate professionally, build positive relationships with tenants and vendors, and take ownership of day-to-day property operations. They understand that while much of the work offers scheduling flexibility, occasional urgent issues require prompt attention.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
