Full Job Description

Brand Nutraceuticals, Inc. DBA Brand Nutra is a dietary supplement manufacturing and packaging facility.

Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of dietary supplement ingredients and categories, including vitamins, minerals, herbals/botanicals, amino acids, and other common supplement ingredients.

This is a full-time position.

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Salary based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

Overview: Brand Nutra is seeking an experienced Purchasing and Inventory Manager to join the team. The Purchasing and Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of Raw Materials for manufacturing, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring product availability while minimizing inventory costs. This role works closely with operations, warehouse, and sales to support business growth and profitability.

Duties:

Manage Raw Material purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, and purchase orders.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of products while maintaining inventory levels.
Monitor inventory performance, including availability, reorder points, and inventory turnover.
Conduct inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and optimize inventory management processes.
Resolve purchasing, inventory, and supplier-related issues as they arise.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Experience:

Experience as a Purchasing and Inventory Manager or in a similar role. Pharmaceutical and Dietary Supplement Industry welcome to apply.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
Familiarity with materials management and production planning processes.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions based on market trends and pricing information.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
